FIWARE Mexico will be holding an Open Camp workshop at the FIWARE Global Summit in Porto, Portugal on May 9. The event, organized in conjunction with FIWARE Mundus, aims to share ideas and good practices about the uses of FIWARE technology and stimulate new ideas on how FIWARE can be used to transform communities.
The key questions that will be posed are the following: What challenges and opportunities are present for FIWARE technology at a European and international level? What will it take for FIWARE to be adopted and used in Smart Cities and Smart Industry? The FIWARE Mexico Open Camp will be facilitated by Paolo Martinez, part of FUTOUR, one of the most experienced innovators and design thinkers in the technology industry today.
The FIWARE Mexico Open Camp is free to all participants of the Global FIWARE Summit. You can register for the event here.
At the event, participants will be put into working groups and will analyze the main uses of FIWARE technology in Smart Cities and Smart Industry as well as identify strengths, opportunities and possible future uses for the technology. The results of each group will be included in the future FIWARE Mundus Action plan, input papers and policy recommendations.
